A police officer assigned to a school in Chicago's northwest suburbs misplaced his gun after taking his firearm out of its holster while using the bathroom on campus. Forest View Education Center in Arlington Heights released a statement to parents and families after the "serious safety matter" prompted administrators to cancel classes.
