25 beagles are now in the care of PAWS Chicago after being rescued from a breeding and research facility in Wisconsin. The dogs are among 1,500 beagles from Ridglan Farms near Madison, which is at the center of a state investigation for animal cruelty allegations. The pups are being relocated from the site under a purchase agreement reached between the facility and animal rescuers.
