Last week’s Making an Exoneree event brought together community members for a powerful screening and discussion centered on wrongful convictions. The documentaries highlighted the cases of Scott Jones, Markale Lundy, Jeremy Phillips, Anthony Thompson, and Stacey “Sabur” Tyler — individuals who have collectively spent 114 years in prison for crimes they did not commit. The night marked the culmination of a semester of investigative work by georgetownuniversity undergraduate and georgetownlawofficial students, but only the beginning of their ongoing advocacy for each individual! #MAE #WrongfulConvictions
