ad OMG… I finally revealed my Nana’s DREAM garden 🥹🪴 and honestly… her reaction made every second of this makeover worth it. Welcome back to part 2 of transforming my Nana’s garden with bandq_uk ❤️ Before the big reveal I still had a few DIY projects left to finish… and you know I couldn’t resist getting creative 😂 I LOVE those huge antique stone planters you always see online… but definitely not the price tags 💀 so I decided to make my own using a water butt and tile adhesive!! Everything I used was from B&Q 👏 After wrapping the surface in scrim tape, I layered on tile adhesive to create that aged stone texture. Honestly, there’s no perfect method to it either — just build up the layers and add as much texture as you want! I used tile adhesive because it’s slightly flexible, water-resistant and sets like stone which makes it SUCH a cool material for outdoor DIY projects. I made two different sizes and planted these gorgeous palms from the B&Q garden centre 🌴 They were only £32 ...
