Due to its concentration of businesses, residences and hotels, Uptown/Downtown Oakland is responsible for the bulk of city funds that provide services all over town. If that economy is jeopardized or fails, the entire city will be negatively impacted. What’s happening AFTER oakfirstfridays and other weekend nights in the area is unacceptable and we must come together to find appropriate solutions to address our challenges.
