A wild burro was rescued near Kingman after falling into a septic tank at an RV park in Golden Valley. Officials say the burro was found struggling to keep its head above a mixture of water and raw sewage, and may have been trapped overnight before crews arrived. The Bureau of Land Management worked with RV park residents and maintenance crews to pump out the tank, cut open the top and use a backhoe to safely lift the exhausted burro out.
