Maricopa County health officials confirmed three new measles cases Wednesday and released a list of 10 public exposure sites across Mesa where people may have been exposed to the virus.
Officials say the cases appear connected, but the original source of exposure is still unknown โ meaning the infections were likely spread locally within Maricopa County.

Health officials warned that measles can remain in the air for up to two hours after an infected person leaves an area.
