One of Arizona’s most popular summer activities is officially back.
Salt River Tubing has reopened for the 2026 season, with opening day kicking off this past Saturday as temperatures start heating up across the Valley.
The experience lets people float down the Salt River for 2 to 5 hours, depending on the route — making it a go-to for cooling off with friends and family.
Visitors start at the main location near Bush Highway and Usery Pass, where they can rent tubes, grab supplies, and hop on a shuttle to the river.
There are multiple starting points depending on how long you want to float and how much time you have.
This year also comes with a few upgrades, including:
• Online pre-booking
• Faster check-in process
• Larger shuttle buses
• Shorter wait times
With Arizona heat already picking up, this is usually when things start getting busy out there.
Have you gone tubing before or is this your first summer thinking about it? 🤔
