A first date in Scottsdale didn’t last long after a driver was arrested for excessive speeding 🚔 According to DPS, a trooper pulled over a driver near Loop 101 and McDowell Road around 11 p.m. after clocking him going 120 mph on the freeway. The passenger told the trooper the two were on their first date — and said she felt scared during the drive, adding that it would be their last date. Authorities say the 22-year-old driver was arrested for criminal speed and reckless driving, and his car was impounded for 20 days. DPS also added a message following the incident, reminding drivers that safety matters — especially on a first date.
