Not every cat shines in a shelter environment. For Astrid, it was a bit overwhelming. But in foster care, we’ve experienced the real her, and she is something special. Meet Astrid, a 4-year-old tortoiseshell with a soft heart and an even softer spot for the people she trusts. Her foster describes her as patient with other animals, observant, and incredibly sweet once she feels safe. At first, Astrid likes to take things slow. But once you’re in? She wants all the love, scratches, and cuddles she can get. “She’s definitely one of those cats that will pick a person to be theirs forever.” Astrid is currently in foster care but will be spending Fridays through the weekend at our Everyday Adoption Center at Northpointe PetSmart in hopes of meeting her future person.
