After conflict forced Mauwa to flee her home in the #DRC, her 5-month-old daughter, Solange, developed a life-threatening fever. Mauwa trekked through the darkness to reach our clinic, proving that a mother will do anything to protect her child. Health workers diagnosed Solange with pneumonia, and with treatment, she recovered.
