The nationally-watched race for Ohio's 1st Congressional District is set: Democratic Rep. Greg Landsman vs. Republican challenger Eric Conroy. Landsman defeated challenger Damon Lynch IV, son and grandson of two civil rights activists and pastors in Cincinnati. Conroy, a former CIA officer who lives in downtown Cincinnati, emerged as the frontrunner in the primary with the most money raised. He also picked up several key endorsements, including from Trump and former 1st District Republican Rep. Steve Chabot. He declared victory Tuesday evening, saying "Republican voters in Southwest Ohio sent a clear message: it’s time for new leadership. I’m grateful, I'm humbled, and I'm ready to get to work." The Associated Press called the race at 8:19 p.m. Get live election results at the link in our bio. #ohio #ohiopolitics #election #sherrodbrown
