Today, the CGA hosted U.S. Open Local Qualifying at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve — where a full-on winter storm turned the road to the U.S. Open into a true test of grit. ❄️🌨️ Four players have officially punched their ticket to the next stage, while a 3-for-1 playoff on Friday will decide the final qualifying spot. The remaining two players will earn alternate positions. A special shoutout to 2025 Colorado State Junior finalist Elijah Johnson, who battled back with a 5-under back nine to earn medalist honors at 1-under par (71).
