We have seen the works of the LORD in creation, in provision, in guidance, in discipline, in mercy, and in deliverance. We have seen Him answer and forgive; we have seen Him remain faithful in every season, through all our sufferings and doubts. Through it all, He has revealed Himself to us, not distant, but near; not silent, but answering. What we have seen is not even the fullness of His majesty. All that has been seen, all that’s been known and experienced is but the reflection of His glory. A glimpse. A whisper of something far greater. So we lift our eyes higher. Higher than the hills, higher than the mountains, above all things made. Up to the LORD who is holy. Set apart, above all things, beyond all comparison. And yet, this is the God who draws near and answers His people. The Author of the universe is our loving Father who deeply knows and loves us....
