Update: it's starting to look like an actual deck in right field 🙌 This is the joist installation phase as they have secured the ledger to the metal structure. These horizontal boards are the skeleton that will eventually support the deck boards. Once the joists are locked into place, they will add wood between the joists to prevent warping, apply a waterproof tape and then add the deck boards.
