A first look at the refined #Anomalocaris model and its swimming-fin animation - part of a larger documentary film project. The animation isn’t final: parts of the environment still need work to meet our standard of scientific accuracy. Even so, I wanted to share where the project is heading. Building a realistic documentary with this level of detail - anatomy, locomotion and environmental reconstruction - is a major undertaking, a world apart from short casual reels.
