🎓𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕦𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕎𝕖𝕖𝕜 ℂ𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞🎓 Starting our Grad week tributes with Madison “call me Moonie” Moon. Nicknames abounded with this one: Moonstone, Moondog among others. Every team needs a Moonie. She’s as steady and unemotional as they come, unless she feels she’s been wrongly carded by the referee which seemed to happen often. We joke that she didn’t talk her freshman year, which was largely true. But that was Moonie’s way of taking everything in, analyzing dynamics, and figuring out just where she fit into this college thing. She came out of that shell and evolved into one of our most impactful leaders by SR year. She’s a straight shooter, no drama, whose even keeled nature masks how deeply she cares about her team, her friends and everything else. She’d lay down her life to protect those in her circle.
