Argentina's southernmost city Ushuaia has long enjoyed its reputation as 'The End of the World' and as a gateway for trips both to Antarctica and Patagonia.
But in recent days a shadow has been cast over local businesses and officials: the suggestion it could be ground zero for the hantavirus outbreak on MV Hondius.
A landfill site on the outskirts of Ushuaia has been identified as a possible source of the infection - Argentinian officials that have spoken anonymously to some news outlets said this is their leading hypothesis.
But locals and health experts in the area have disputed this, saying there is no record of hantavirus cases in its history.
