Sir Keir Starmer refused to allow the Cabinet to speak at the crunch Downing Street meeting this morning, according to reports. Six Cabinet members - Shabana Mahmood, John Healey, Ed Miliband, Lisa Nandy, Yvette Cooper and Wes Streeting had been expected to urge Starmer to resign, but they weren't given the opportunity. Instead, Starmer used the time to set out his case why he should stay on. He told the Cabinet the leadership process had not been triggered and they should get on with governing. The Prime Minister said no formal leadership challenge had been made and that ministers should 'get on with governing'. #keirstarmer #labour #andyburnham #wesstreeting By Nicholas Dunning Keep up to date with GB News at gbnews.com or on X @GBNEWS Become a Friend of GB News: gbnews.com/friend
