How much should we spend to decolonise maths? UK academics have received £250k via UK Research and Innovation to “decolonise” maths, science and geography teaching in schools. The project aims to challenge “colonial legacies” and promote inclusion, but critics call it “woke dogma” and a waste of public money. A Government spokesperson said: "This government's focus is on delivering a new broad, balanced and cutting-edge curriculum that ensures young people are ready for work and ready for life. "Our expert-led curriculum and assessment review is complete and we are now in the process of drafting updated subject content that will allow teachers to build cohesion not division and paint a picture of a modern and forward-looking Britain." #Woke #Education #Schools #GBNews Keep up to date with GB News at gbnews.com or on X @GBNEWS Become a Friend of GB News: gbnews.com/friend
