Community. 💛🏀 Basketball Victoria recently delivered a Toolangi Adventure Camp-inspired girls participation session across Melbourne’s inner north, bringing together young people from the Collingwood, Fitzroy and Richmond communities. More than just basketball, the session focused on teamwork, leadership, courage, communication and respect helping participants build skills for life both on and off the court. A special highlight was the involvement of BV Multicultural Officer and WNBL star, Nya Lok, whose story and leadership provided inspiration and representation for the girls involved. The session also formed part of Basketball Victoria’s broader Play Our Way initiative, helping create more opportunities for girls across Victoria to experience basketball in fun, welcoming and inclusive environments.
