Santa Clarita deputies responded this morning to a reported bomb threat at Six Flags Magic Mountain prior to the park opening. Out of an abundance of caution, the property was secured and placed on a lockdown. LASD personnel, along with assisting K-9 teams, conducted sweeps of the park and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of guests and employees. The incident concluded at approximately 11:20 a.m. No suspicious items were located. We appreciate the assistance from Los Angeles County Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, and our K-9 teams for their coordinated response and support during today’s investigation.
