Stephen Amell revealed what it was actually like filming the ‘Baywatch’ reboot compared to watching the original 1989 series. “The water is freezing cold.” The Borderline actor told E! News in an exclusive interview at the FOX Upfronts 2026 May 11. “When you see the sun and the surf, you think that it's 84 on the beach and 82 in the ocean. It's not. And no one wants to hear that. So, getting in the water when the water is freezing cold is just part of the job.” Aside from the temperature of the ocean, Stephen also shared that filming the iconic reboot is actually more physically demanding than he anticipated. He added, “Running on sand is hard and unique and challenging.
