Investigators returned to a property in Arroyo Grande as the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office conducts an additional investigation tied to the disappearance of Kristin Smart. The Sheriff’s Office said the activity is focused on the 500 block of East Branch Street and is related to the Kristin Smart disappearance. According to Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Tony Cipolla, the search warrant was served at the home of Susan Flores, which was previously searched in June 2000. Officials said the investigation is being carried out under a search warrant signed by a Superior Court judge. Paul Flores, a fellow freshman at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, was the last person seen with Smart on May 25, 1996.
