Two month update🇺🇸🇮🇳
I moved to the U.S., with my family when I was 15- grew up there, became an adult there, built a life there… so coming back now with my own kids feels surreal.
It’s almost like the city I grew up in and the city I returned to are not the same.
Mumbai feels new.
The pace, the skyline, the convenience, the chaos, the options, everything has changed so much. Some days I recognize nothing, and some days I feel oddly at home.
These last two months have been about learning, unlearning, adjusting, and rediscovering a version of Mumbai I never got to live in.
If you’ve ever moved countries, especially after years abroad- you know this feeling.
It’s confusing, overwhelming, emotional, exciting… all at once.
Here’s what our first 60 days have really looked like.
(And if you’re new here, watch my earlier parts to catch up ❤️)
