As the nation celebrates National Nurses Week, UF College of Nursing is preparing the next generation of nurses to lead in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. #GatoRNursing faculty members like Associate Professor Jennifer Dungan are helping students develop the clinical judgment, resilience and compassion needed to meet growing demands across the profession while keeping patient care at the center of everything they do. “Nurses are researchers, educators, policy leaders and innovators,” Dungan said. “We’re contributing in ways many people don’t always see.” Through simulation, hands-on clinical experiences and research-driven education, UF Nursing continues to advance its mission as a catalyst for nursing excellence and transformative health innovation.
