ICYMI: In partnership with Airbnb, we broke ground on one of the five soccer pitches we are building across New York and New Jersey — starting at P.S. 112 in The Bronx last Friday. These are new, safe spaces where young people can come after school and be part of the legacy that will define the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Pitches will be built at the following locations: 📍 Florence Avenue Elementary in Irvington, NJ 📍 M.S. K394 in Brooklyn 📍 P.S. 102 Bayview in Queens 📍 P.S. R373 in Staten Island 📍 P.S. 112 Bronxwood in The Bronx Thank you to our partners at ussoccerfoundation and nycschools for helping make this a reality that provides real impact for our region’s young people. #FIFAWorldCup #WeAreNYNJ #SomosNYNJ
