A team of French researchers used underwater robotics to examine a shipwreck, Camarat 4, which dates back to the 16th century. The team, using a one-of-a-kind remotely-operated robot, was able to a complete 3-D view of the archaeological site and recover some of the ceramic artifacts. Camarat 4 is considered the deepest archaeological site ever recorded in waters under French jurisdiction. #ship #shipwreck #french #robot
