I think one of the hardest things to accept is that no matter how much you try to explain yourself, love people the right way, understand their perspective, or show up with good intentions… some people are still gonna misunderstand you. Some people are still gonna see you through their own pain, expectations, experiences, or version of the story. I’ve been exhausting myself trying to control that. Trying to make sure nobody misunderstands me. Trying to make sure everybody feels okay. Trying to make sure my intentions were clear. But at some point you realize that’s not fully in your control. And at the end of the day, all you can really do is make sure you can live with yourself and the way you chose to show up. #selfawareness #emotionalpatterns #innerwork #selftrust #growth
