Glamorous Glennis takes one last flight.
Today in history in 1950, the iconic Bell X-1 "Glamorous Glennis" flew for the last time, piloted by Chuck Yeager. It became a part of our collection soon after.
The aircraft is currently on display at our Museum in DC in the "Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall." #AirSpacePhoto
