Things I stopped doing as a functional medicine doctor 🧬

🌍I stopped living in the outer world — and started paying attention to the inner one. Chronic stress is not a mindset problem. It is a physiology problem. It ages you.
✅I stopped saying yes to everything — and everyone. Boundaries are not a personality trait. Cortisol dysregulation is a clinical outcome of not having them.
🧘I stopped pushing through when my body said no. Rest is not laziness. In longevity medicine, recovery is the work.
