Such a great night out with chipalfilmfest celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Chicago Palestinian Film Festival. I had to opportunity to screen the film “Palestine 36” which is a detailed account of events that took place in Palestine in 1936. As the British tightened their grip on Palestine, it’s a story of resistance - heartbreaking, moving and a beautifully made film.
