Every time I land in Morocco, there’s a short list of things I RUN to eat/drink - Za3Za3 is without fail one of those things. Za3Za3 is a delicious avocado smoothie that’s made with the volume turned WAY UP! It’s packed with dried fruits & nuts and is topped with everything from whipped cream and chocolate sauce to KitKat. Za3Za3 is popular in the North of Morocco where you’ll find it in cities like Tangier & Tetouan. In fact, in Tetouan there’s an entire street packed with vendors selling Za3Za3 which is exactly where these photos were taken last year. Every year since I’ve started DinnersWithDave I’ve made a version of an avocado smoothie. I shared my 2025 version this past week and it’s definitely one of the best.
