Seriously injured in a near-deadly motocross accident last year, this young Valley dad says ‘Thank You’ to the Level-I trauma team at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center for saving his life. Max Loya was in a medically induced coma and on ECMO for three weeks after crashing his dirt bike in August 2022. Today, he returned to St. Joseph’s and reunited with those who cared for him in honor of #TraumaSurvivorsDay.
