I filmed this video of Matsumi Bridge on our honeymoon in the spring of 2024. Driving through the quiet wilds of Hokkaido, we had to pull over and get a few shots of it. The contrast of the bridge cutting through one of the most untouched landscapes in the region was incredible. Tucked deep in the wilderness with endless forest, soft mountains, and a kind of silence that feels almost sacred. While you can’t see it from this angle, the river below is famous for forming rare “ice pancake” formations in winter, one of the only places in Japan where it happens. #Hokkaido #dronejapan #japannature #hiddenplaces #hiddenjapan
