Stasis — from behind. This sculpture began as a physical work in the studio. The digital version is created from a 3D scan of the original sculpture, allowing the form to be carried forward with accuracy rather than be reinterpreted. The process is not about changing the design, but preserving the proportion, geometry and subtleties that give the piece its character. With a background in industrial design, maintaining that fidelity between original work and final fabrication has become an important part of how I work. Bronze.
