When someone says “a woman can’t win in Idaho,” they are not giving political analysis. They are repeating misogyny.
Across the country, women are leading, winning, and making history. In 2026, 14 women are serving as governors. Miami and Detroit both elected their first women mayors. And this year, Cherie DeVaux became the first female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby.
So no, the problem is not that women cannot lead. The problem is that too many people are still comfortable underestimating them. Idaho deserves leadership based on strength, integrity, and service, not outdated ideas about who is “allowed” to win.
Women are equal. Women are qualified. And Idaho is ready for better. 💙
