Meet Jordyn Hickey, a Master of Business Administration graduate from West Babylon, New York, and this year’s student commencement speaker for the College of Business. Jordyn built on her undergraduate studies in marketing and public relations by pursuing her MBA, strengthening her skills in strategy, leadership, and decision-making. Through both programs, she developed a passion for communication, problem-solving, and advocacy—interests that will guide her next step into law school. At URI, Jordyn took on a wide range of academic and leadership roles. She served as a graduate and business analytics teaching assistant, and as a social media specialist for uri_business. She was also involved in the Dean’s Advisory Council, uriwomensprelaw, and orderofomegauri, and served as vice president of philanthropy for sigdelturi.
