In his latest interview with CBS, Martin Short spoke candidly about his relationship with his daughter Katherine Short and how her passing affected the family. 💔 “It’s been a nightmare for the family,” he explains, but added that it helped him to understand that “mental health and cancer (like my wife) are both diseases.” Katherine, the oldest of Martin and his late wife’s (Nancy Dolman) three children, passed away in February of this year at the age of 42. Martin also spoke about losing several close friends over the past year including Catherine O’Hara, Diane Keaton, and Rob and Michele Reiner. Martin Short’s new Netflix documentary, “Marty, Life Is Short,” is set to premiere May 12th. The film explores his time in the entertainment industry, featuring some of his favourite collaborators and friends.
