North Carolina man shot by two off-duty officers after brandishing a weapon during an argument. The man in the red tracksuit is heard threatening the other man’s life three times. Surveillance video released by the Gastonia, North Carolina Police Department on Monday, May 11 shows the moments leading up to a police shooting at Jakob's Food Mart. On Jan. 10, two officers in plain clothes fired shots at a man identified as Derrick Manigault. Police reported in January that Manigault was waving a gun and making "threatening movements" leading up to the shooting. Two days after the shooting, police reported that Manigault had died at the hospital due to his injuries in the shooting. It wasn't clear how many times bullets hit Manigault. Investigators reportedly found that the firearm seen in Manigault's waistband and in his hand was not a real gun. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation investigated the police shooting and gave its findings to the Gaston County district attorney....
