Listen to trans and nonbinary young people 🏳️‍⚧️For our November research brief, our team explored how TGNB+ young people think the people in their lives can best support them. 92% said ‘trusting that I know who I am’ is the best way to show support. We must trust trans kids when they tell us who they are, because it’s lifesaving — those who experienced none or very few supportive actions reported the highest rate of a past-year suicide attempt. We can save lives by listening, showing up, and trusting our young people. That is our responsibility. That is our purpose.
