For the past few weeks I’ve been thinking about social media in a way that I haven’t really before. I think that living on my own and trying to stay in my own little lane while also choosing to share what is going on in my life and what I’ve been processing has been so interesting to me. It is truly SO easy to keep up with someone’s daily life through only the lens that they share and think that is their everyday life and I think we are all guilty of that at some point. It’s really easy to think “wow she’s always traveling” or “he really has it all together” or “I wish I was a part of their family” and in that moment a simple share turned into envy and/or false perception of another person. Although I (haha obvi) loveeeee social media and all the beauty in sharing and creating, I find myself battling with it often.
