In 2019, I created The White Rose Society which is a community for women navigating the loss of their mothers or mother-like figures 🤍 After losing my mom in 2009, I knew there had to be other women carrying a grief similar to mine. Over time, I realized that loss doesn’t always mean physical absence. Some are grieving mothers in hospice, mothers battling addiction, or relationships that are emotionally distant and no longer present in the ways they once were. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to honor two women who had recently lost their moms by creating personalized gift baskets filled with items that reflected love, comfort, memory, and healing. It was my way of reminding them that even in grief, they are still supported and seen. I wanted to share this video as a reminder that you are not alone in your journey.
