Hi Friends, This Mother’s Day, I am asking for something more meaningful than flowers or gifts. I am asking for hope. 🤍 This is honestly one of the hardest things for me to post. While I’ve always been open about my own life and personal struggles online, I have kept my mom’s health journey pretty private for a long time. But at this point, we know the only way to find hope is to share her story. My mom came to this country from Ukraine to build a better life from nothing. She worked tirelessly to create a future for our family, pouring her heart into her career as a Master Barber and into every person lucky enough to sit in her chair. She has spent her life taking care of others, making people feel confident, seen, and loved. A few years ago, she was diagnosed with kidney disease, and has been is in kidney failure since Christmas Day of 2023.
