Neutrinos are tiny subatomic particles produced in enormous numbers inside the Sun’s core during nuclear fusion. Unlike light, they can pass through planets, stars, and even the entire Earth almost unaffected. Scientists detected these solar neutrinos using massive underground detectors filled with special materials that capture rare particle interactions, helping confirm how the Sun generates energy deep within its center.
