Several Temple Station deputies, a motor deputy, a sergeant, and a lieutenant recently attended the Police Unity Tour — a powerful event dedicated to honoring and raising awareness for law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Operating under the motto, “We Ride for Those Who Died,” participants completed a four-day, 300-mile bicycle ride from New Jersey to Washington, DC. The ride supports the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum and helps honor fallen heroes while supporting their surviving family members. The journey concludes at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC with a moving candlelight vigil during National Police Week.
