A baby born just before midnight on Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday has been named in honour of the legendary broadcaster. Ambrose Attenborough Whyte was born at 23:58 on 8 May, to parents Stephen Whyte, 35, and Lauren Evans, 27, from Powys. The couple said Sir David has been a constant in their lives for as long as they can remember, with his documentaries helping spark their love for animals and the natural world. Lauren had been due to be induced the day before, but when labour started naturally, she realised the timing could line up with Attenborough’s milestone birthday. 💬 She said it would be “really nice” if their son shared the same birthday as the conservationist. The pair had originally planned a different middle name, but made a last-minute decision to change it to Attenborough. #entertainment #attenborough
