I’m embarking on a solo road trip today! I had a longboard shaped for me by Blake Lundquist lundquistsurfboards. I figured why not drive out and pick it up! I’m planning on staying a few nights in South Orange County, catching up with old friends, surfing, and seeing some family. Question: Do y’all ever feel like you belong to two things at the same time? I love my home state of California and my adopted state of Texas. They’ve both put their mark on my soul. I love so many things about Texas: the people, the music culture (not so much the cosplay-cowboy thing), the food, the amazing diversity, the nature, the affordability, NASA. California is the same only subtract NASA and add beach, mountains, and weather. I’ve also noticed that most of my Californian friends really resonated with Texas and vice versa.
