A day late… but somehow that feels fitting. ❤️ Because this journey into donkey rescue was never something we planned perfectly. It happened little by little… one heartbreak, one rescue, one life changing moment at a time. What started with simply loving one donkey turned into an entirely different life. A life filled with muddy boots, sleepless nights, impossible decisions, exhaustion, laughter, heartbreak, healing, and more love than I ever thought my heart could hold. These animals changed me. They softened me. They gave me purpose during some of the hardest seasons of my life. And every single donkey that has crossed our path has left a mark on my soul forever.
