A day in the life of a sound healing practitioner is not always what people think it is.
Some days I’m facilitating sound bath sessions.
Some days I’m behind a computer answering emails, building programs, researching, or working from home. Some days I’m driving across states with a car full of instruments.
And some days look like today.
Today I had the opportunity to speak at the SHRM monthly gathering at gadsdenstatecommunitycollege for their continuing education credit during Mental Health Awareness Month. I shared about how sound healing and nervous system regulation can support mental health and wellness in the workplace, and guided the group through a 10-minute mini sound bath session.
I love every opportunity I get to share this work, especially here in Alabama.
As a military kid who moved around often, Alabama was the first place I ever truly called home. There is something deeply meaningful about bringing this work into the communities that shaped me.
